One of my goals for this baseball season was to really step up my photography game...

While it's been fun capturing all the action of the Cheverus Stags, the journey has also helped me push myself artistically, as well.

I can’t say enough great things about this team. The way they support each other, through all the ups and downs—along with their collective energy on the bench—is nothing short of electric. ⚡️

Watching Will’s teammates rush to greet him at the plate following his first high school home run yesterday and then swarm him on his way back to the dugout will live rent-free in my head forever.

Same with the high fives for pitcher Colton Jewett, who tossed a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts. The Stags’ chemistry is really something to behold this season, from the coaches to the entire roster.

Couple that with the fact that our friends and our kids’ friends through Cheverus (who have since become family) made it a point to track down and get Will the home run ball, encapsulates what makes Cheverus such a special place.

It’s not just a school.

It’s a community.

It’s a village.

And it’s a family. A family we’re lucky to be a part of. Best of luck through the rest of the season, fellas! 💜💛 🦌

The high school baseball season is going by in a blur! Be sure to swing by Hadlock Field (home of the Boston Red Sox’ AA affiliate) in Portland tonight, as the Cheverus Stags battle the Portland Bulldogs under the lights.
