A grey foggy morning in Ogunquit was the perfect backdrop for Ariel + David's engagement session β¨π
Walking along Marginal Way before the rest of the world woke up last week was a special feeling that really hit different towards the end of August: it served as a reminder that the crowds will slowly start to die down as autumn creeps in, and so many touristy places around here will only be as busy as it was that morning, at most, for the whole day.
Seeing summer fade away is always incredibly bittersweet and hits me right in the soft spot of my heart π But to me, September has always felt more like a beginning than an ending. That "back-to-school" feeling is more than just new supplies and notebooks (although you know I just got some new colorful pens!) - it feels like a fresh start to embrace the coming season, and to start noticing the little changes as they roll on in (looking at you, π)
It is also the beginning of "locals summer," and the month of our wedding anniversary (former September bride, here! π°ββοΈ) It was close to 80 and sunny on our late September wedding day, which is now an annual reminder that even when the nights start to get chilly, there are still going to be warmer days ahead that are extra worth getting out there to enjoy π
Happy September!!! β¨
