Born and raised in the small village of Farley, Missouri (a part of the Kansas City Northland), I’ve always had my finger on the pulse with anything involving creativity and technology. I guess you could say my career as a photographer started in high school. I was a part of our Yearbook Staff and loved taking photos of sports and school activities; recording memories for my friends, family, and
myself. I have always loved technology and showed interest in computers, cameras, editing music and more. After high school, I earned my degree in Advertising and minors in Broadcasting and Business. I continued my education and switched my career to a high school Business Teacher and went as far as earning my Specialist Degree in Technology in Schools. The truth is I have always enjoyed many things and could see myself pursue multiple career options. Landing in a career as a Business Teacher provided me the opportunity to do many things; even a used tractor parts business with my husband. To this day, I combine all of my experiences and focus on teaching business and technology skills to high school students. My passion is Graphic Design, Sports Marketing, and Photography. I owe my side hustle in photography to several who believed in my potential and encouraged me to use my skills and talent through Graphic Design and Photography. By day I teach high school students about Graphic Design, Web Design, Business Technology, and Sports Marketing. In my free time I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, seeking out adventure, gardening, playing the piano, and finding ways to express my creativity. My time in-between is spent capturing special moments for families, engaged couples, weddings, seniors, and even sports teams at the school I teach. Having the privilege to share and work with so many incredible people has been a part my story. I can’t wait to be apart of your life’s moments that tell your story. Travel fee for location outside of Platte County and local area near Smithville, MO ($50 + $.50/mile for location over an hour drive). You own your photos. They are not mine. After your session, I will carefully choose the images I think you will love and I will edit each of them with care. Once this has been done, I will put all of the EDITED Images from the photo session in an Online Gallery Link for you to download, save, post and/or print anywhere and in any size. Based on your needs I do have options for a USB Drive or Memory Card with all of the Raw and Edited Images from the photo session. You may order prints in any size and amount from any online/store vendor of your choice! You will receive a Copyright Release letter for printing. I currently offer graphic design requests, banners, yard signs, holiday cards, invitations, and more!
