Jaxson absolutely crushed his senior session 🎓📚

I always laugh a little because senior boys usually show up expecting their session to be awkward, boring, or something they’re just doing for their mom - but by the end, most are telling me they actually had a good time (which always feels like one of the best compliments). I think there’s something really special about capturing seniors as they are, without forcing anything stiff or overdone. Just real personality, real confidence, and this huge season of life they’re stepping into. So grateful I got to capture this chapter for Jaxson!

There’s something incredibly special about getting to witness people’s lives unfold in real time - and even more special when you get to document it.

I’ve known Brooklyn and Carter before they were clients, before husband and wife, before so many of the milestones that now make up their story. Watching Brooklyn chase her dream, graduate from cosmetology school, and absolutely take off - and seeing the life they’ve built together along the way, has been nothing short of incredible.

And now this chapter 🥹

Getting to stand behind the lens and capture moments like this isn’t something I take lightly. It means more to me than I could probably ever say out loud. Because it’s not just photos - it’s history, it’s growth, it’s love in its most tangible form.

If the way these two love and care for each other is any glimpse into the kind of parents they’re going to be, then their sweet girl is already so blessed. She is so deeply loved, already so protected, and so clearly in the very best hands.

Three different women. Three different journeys. All rooted in motherhood. 🤍

This month, I wanted to share something special for International Women’s Month — a mix of sessions that tell the story of what it means to grow into a woman, live as a woman, and love as a mother. And it only felt right to start here. With motherhood.

Motherhood looks different on everyone.
For some, it’s loud and chaotic.
For some, it’s quiet and tender.
For some, it’s years in the making, filled with waiting, hoping, and praying.

But every single time I photograph a mother with her babies, no matter their age, I see the same thing —
strength, softness, sacrifice, and a love that runs deeper than words can explain.

These are three different stories.
Three different seasons of life.
Three different women who carry the title “Mom” in their own way.

And that’s what I love most about what I do…
I get to freeze these moments that feel ordinary now, but someday will mean everything.

To the mothers in the thick of it,
the ones just beginning,

Lately, gratitude has been hitting a little different 🤍

This morning, while reflecting on my way to work, I couldn’t help but to think where I was a year ago. I’ve always been thankful for all things, big or small - rain or shine. But the depth of it now feels deeper, stronger, louder.

Last year I was wishing.
For clarity.
For confidence.
For growth.

This past year, I’ve spent so much time building it all - and I continue to do so 🌿

I’ve re-found my confidence.
My business is growing in ways I once prayed for.
My babies are healthy, striving, and stepping into their own little worlds.
Simply put, I’m present + life feels so sweet ✨

And to every family who has trusted me to capture their moments, sincerely thank you. You are not just booking a session - you’re inviting me into milestones, chaos, tenderness, and growth. You are choosing me to freeze your ever precious time and moments, and I never take that lightly.

The things I once hoped and prayed and pushed through tears for, I am actively creating. And so are you. In your homes. In your seasons. In your quiet victories.

In a world that is so uncertain and divided, so heavy - I have to keep my little corner of gratitude like my own personal ray of sunshine đź’›
