What if you just told your kid, “I’m yours tonight.”

Toss out the to- do list .

Grab something sweet and a couple drinks. Play some games. Get in the water and splash each other. Hug and love on each other a little more. Tell stories. Talk about all the things she somehow only tells you when you’re not asking.

For a couple hours, she gets her mom all to herself.

You get a really good night with your kiddo. I just happen to be there documenting it.
