Rory shoots her first wedding ceremony and reception!

As you may already know, I had done some wedding portraits for Tauhid and his wife last winter, but this was my first time attending and shooting an entire wedding and its events. I was so honored to have the opportunity to do this for Sam and Maddie. They had a beautiful non-traditional Gothic vibe to their big day, and I absolutely loved it. Another special thanks to Lucas for setting me up with this opportunity, and recommending me to this couple. A year ago, I would have never imagined that I'd be given the chance to capture someone's special day.

Almost done posting my 2027 Sioux Falls seniors of this season... missing them all already!

I say I love every shoot, but the way these turned out so hazy and cinematic really just scratched the itch I've had when I opened Lightroom to edit. Who else likes a little edge?
I loved shooting senior photos with Em. He has a unique kind of alternative and artsy vibe, which gave me a lot of fun creative material to work with. This was one of the seniors this season I was very excited to work with, and I'm just as excited to show you all how the photos turned out.

My second '27 senior of the season! Caitlin was such a natural model, and provided me with the opportunity to photograph her doing what she's passionate about - playing one of her many instruments. The last (but certainly not least) of my three concept shoots. This one really emulated the word "delicate", utilizing sheer lace and tulle. I'm in love with this hazy, grainy, and blush vibe. First shoot on my new equipment, and needless to say I'm in LOVE. Kai was amazing to work with on this project, and as a result these images are absolutely beautiful. So obsessed with the moody fantasy vibe of this concept.

Everybody, be more like Ryan.

Ryan messaged me hoping to do a shoot for him and his girlfriend Grayson for her birthday this Saturday. He sent me her inspo, told me what she liked and wanted, and gave me the creative freedom to take care of her. He did not complain or protest poses once, and even helped assist me during the shoot when taking Graysons individual portraits 💚💚
