Katherine Ann Photography Becoming a photographer has given me an entirely new perspective on everyday life. My name is Katherine but people call me Kat for short.

I use photography to turn everyday ordinary things into works of art. As a photographer I get inspired by many things before clicking the shutter on a scene or subject. It could be the light falling on a scene or the look in a person's eyes. It might be the time of day or even the time of the year. A simple photograph can inspire someone, change a person's view, or inspire someone to act. Photographs connect us to our past, remind us of people, places, feelings, and stories.

This session has been on my heart for years, and watching this mother and son laugh, snuggle, and love on each other in the snow was pure magic. Cold hands, warm hearts, and memories they’ll cherish forever.
