Fall has officially arrived in Sioux Falls — and over the next 25 days, we’ll experience some of the most beautiful natural color of the entire year.

Golden leaves. Warm evening light. Rich autumn tones. This is the window I wait for all year as a portrait photographer.

What a senior session! 📸

I had such a great time working with you and creating your Senior Portraits. You brought such an easygoing personality to the session, and I’m SO thrilled with what we created together!

But one of my favorite parts of getting to know you was hearing about your love for writing — and that someday, you’d like to become a writer yourself.

I think that is SO COOL.

There’s something pretty special about photographing someone at this point in life, when the next chapter is still completely unwritten — especially when that person happens to love writing stories himself. ❤️

Johnny, thank you for spending the time with me and trusting me with your Senior Portraits. Keep writing, keep creating, and keep chasing that dream.

A great morning downtown with Amare for the first round of his senior portraits! 📸

From casual looks to the suit, Amare absolutely crushed it — relaxed, confident, and incredibly natural in front of the camera. We had some beautiful morning light to work with and created such a great variety throughout downtown.

The Espland Family ❤️

Jess and Justin have trusted me with their family portraits for many years now, and one of the greatest gifts of doing this work is getting to watch families grow right in front of my camera.

This session was an especially wonderful one. Corrine, Evelyn and Madeline are growing up far too quickly — and this time, we were able to bring the grandparents into the photographs as well.

Three generations, a beautiful summer evening, plenty of laughter, and photographs that I hope become even more meaningful as the years pass.

Jess & Justin, thank you for continuing to invite me into these chapters of your family’s story. It was wonderful seeing everyone again. ❤️

Jezaleyn, you were absolutely wonderful to photograph. The warm, artistic light we had at Arrowhead Park was incredible and gave us the opportunity to create some truly beautiful, one-of-a-kind imagery.

The colors change quickly. The photographs stay with us.

I’m now accepting reservations for my 2026 Fall Portrait Season, October 1–November 10.

To open the season, I’m extending Early Bird pricing to the first 10 families who reserve their session, with portrait packages beginning at $249.99.

Once those 10 reservations are spoken for, standard fall pricing will return!

I’ve had the privilege of photographing the Huska family for more than 15 years, and there’s something pretty incredible about looking back at all the life that has happened in front of my camera during that time. Weddings, family portraits, growing families—and now a whole crew of grandkids who seem to get bigger every time I see them.

This latest gathering was such a fun one. We captured the beautiful, polished family portraits…but as you can see, things may have gotten slightly less organized once we put Grandma and Grandpa together with all of the grandkids. 😂

And I absolutely LOVE it.

Jordan, Kelsey and the entire Huska family—thank you for inviting me back into your lives year after year. Getting to document a family across generations is one of the very best parts of what I do. ❤️

15+ years of Huska family memories…and this crew just keeps getting better.
