Marcus and TyAnn Hluchy were married on May 9th, 2026 in Harrisburg, South Dakota at the beautifully restored Beaver Creek Wedding Chapel, and somehow the entire day felt both deeply intimate and incredibly joyful all at once.
The chapel itself was absolutely perfect for them. A quaint little white chapel filled with history, restored alongside the getting ready space by The Meadow Barn, with one of the buildings originally being an old schoolhouse. Every corner carried so much charm and meaning. Then the celebration continued at the Old Courthouse Museum in Sioux Falls, which honestly could not have been more fitting for two lawyers beginning their life together.
TyAnn genuinely looked like a real life princess. Absolutely radiant inside and out. I do not even know how to put into words how joyful she was throughout the entire day. She was fully present in every moment, smiling constantly, soaking in every interaction, every prayer, every hug, every little in between moment. But the moment that overwhelmed her the most was during the receiving line. As guest after guest came through to hug them and celebrate them, she completely broke down in tears. Watching her realize just how deeply loved and supported they are was one of the sweetest things I have ever witnessed.
And somehow, this weekend held even more celebration. TyAnn graduated from law school the day before her wedding, and then celebrated both her wedding day and her birthday on the same day. Truly such a special season of life.
As both the wedding photographer and bridesmaid for one of my very best friends since middle school, this day carried so much meaning for me personally too. It was emotional watching her marry the love of her life and begin this new chapter together with Marcus. Their relationship already reflects Christ so beautifully. They love the Lord deeply, they love their people well, and their entire wedding day pointed back to the Gospel so intentionally and clearly.
There is not a bad bone in TyAnn’s body. She is one of the sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet, and Marcus complements her so well with such a steady and loving presence. It was such an honor to stand beside them and capture a day that was so rich with joy, history, meaning, and faith.
Thank you, Marcus and TyAnn. I am so grateful and blessed to have captured this day for you.
