You don’t need a reason to have your love photographed. I found my love for photography at fifteen years old. I learned on a Pentax K1000 with black and white film in my high school’s darkroom. My favorite things are laughing and loving whoever is around to laugh and love with. Once I realized you could capture a little bit of that feeling in a photo I knew it was something I wanted to do forever.

I find myself driving through a neighborhood, thinking how amazing it is that in each house lives it’s own world. My goal is to support and celebrate the lives of people from all communities by photographing their stories. As a business owner who is part of the q***r community, diversity and representation are important to me. Every story deserves beautiful memories to look back on.

There’s something so special about photographing love in your home. I always think about how these photos will feel years from now, when you’re older and your kids are grown. How it will feel to look back and remember being young, waiting to bring your baby home for the first time, and dreaming about all the life and love that would fill the space.

Two years ago, I photographed a wedding where I met Rory + Suz. Last year, I photographed their wedding and met Lauren + Grant. This weekend, I got to photograph them as they get ready to welcome a baby.

It’s kind of wild how one wedding can lead to so many different connections. I feel really lucky to keep getting invited to document so much love.

I was lucky enough to help celebrate Victor + Arielle last week by photographing their wedding day!

The weather was perfect, but the love that showed up to surround these two was even better.
