Did you miss our General Meeting last night?
It was a fun and engaging evening as Lance Rothstein shared stories from his remarkable career as a lifelong photojournalist and his journey back to film photography, traditional darkroom work, and teaching the next generation of photographers.
Throughout his career, Lance has worked with prestigious publications including The New York Times, The Miami Herald, Sports Illustrated, and Norway’s Aftenposten. His passion for visual storytelling, combined with his dedication to preserving classic photographic techniques, made for an inspiring presentation that resonated with photographers of all experience levels.

Exciting news - A curated exhibit by members of the Lakewood Ranch Digital Photography Club at Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay, featuring 57 pieces of art by 35 photographers will be showcased throughout the months of May and June.
Thank you to the vision of Pam Truitt, along with the collaborative effort of Bill Mills and various fellow photographers this project came to fruition. Enjoy photos from an adventure-filled two-night photography field trip to Southwest Florida brought together great local food, iconic Everglades locations, and endless opportunities to shoot from sunrise into the night.
