A lil Americana session that I wanted to turn into minis at the beautiful Red Flag Ranch but life had other plans ✨ Thank you Christina for offering your incredible ranch to us 🙏❤️😘✨

Even if the minis had to wait for another day/month/year, I am so happy that I got to work with one of my favorite yoga teachers Beckie Warren Choo and her family. We got to create a ton of cuteness together 🙏❤️😍

Working with this age group is really fun! They get to kinda run the show which is actually the gift of the littles. Getting thru a whole spectrum of emotions with a small child during a photo session is really fulfilling because it shows so many different aspects of them, and all the little faces and gestures are just adorable to photograph each and every time.

Thank you Beckie for letting me connect with your little family. It was very special.

I know a many people want to capture babies swaddled in all kinds of beautiful things, posed like little froggies and looking super cute among adorable props. But I’ve always wanted to capture the little quirks of the infant stage that disappear just weeks after a baby comes into this world. Im glad there are parents out there who also love to have these memories for themselves

Capturing their beautiful relationship and moments they don’t share too often because of distance is such an honor. Working with repeat clients is always such a gift that keeps on unfolding. I loved documenting the cousins play in the park and enjoying each other’s company.

Let me tell you about sound healing. It took me by surprise but a while ago I had taken my mom to a singing bowl session and had a great time relaxing to the sounds, not thinking anything of it when we left…. Until my mom told me that the terrible vertigo she was dealing with for months at a time had been gone since the day of the sound healing session 😳🥹😍. I was sold that day on the magic of sound healing obviously.

When we moved I was immediately on the quest to find a yoga studio and a great sound practitioner here in FL. And this is how we found Joey!!!!!!

Let me tell you, Joey knows her stuff. Like a super cool DJ she rocks these instruments as if they are an extension of her soul, and she knows exactly where to direct them to work with the person’s body and energy precisely! I’ve never met someone so talented and knowledgeable about sound until I met her.

I’ve said goodbyes to close friends and family so many times in my life that I should be desensitized to it. I can tell you they definitely don’t get easier. But this one is NOT a goodbye.
