It’s a little hard to be grateful for this - it was 2 years today that I walked away from my commercial studio space. It was unexpected for me, a change in ownership of the building, out of my control - and ironically it still sits vacant to this day 💔(smh). But what I am grateful for is all the memories held in that entire experience. Being in love with what I was doing, despite the hustle and hard work - I was (AM) so proud of the imagery, the connection, the art, the friendships, the success of a dream coming true.

Things are different now. Can’t say I understand why or if it was a good thing… but I have faith it was and just like in this audio - it’s time to evolve. I can look back with a full - but I must keep moving forward. But will never give up. I still look for new studio space while still shooting - and sharpening other skills at the same time. But I I’ll forever be grateful for all of it - it was a gift.

Every so often, someone comes along crossing your path leaving an imprint of some special significance. I’m sure many people who have met felt a huge inspiration from her incredible survival story - and if they had any amount of time with her, they would have felt her incredibly gentle and giving heart too. I had that experience when our paths crossed photographing a comet near the skyway bridge. Learning more about her, I was proud to have met someone turned their tragedy into inspiration.

And now, I get to be even more proud of her after publishing her first book ✨🙌.

It’s a a powerful and refreshing reminder that success isn’t the finish line… it’s the beginning of deeper growth. Maja blends raw personal truth with clear insight, showing why comfort and “making it” are often the very things that keep people and businesses stuck. At a moment in my own life where I’m questioning what comes next, this book helped me see growth not as pressure… but as permission.

If you’ve achieved a level of success yet still feel there must be more, or even you are still climbing your mountain, this book will resonate deeply and challenge you to keep scaling - intentionally and courageously.

And with that being said, I am truly our paths crossed Maja 💞

There was so much activity in the sky tonight - I never noticed how many airplanes fly at night. Caught 2 planes and 1 satellite fly by the waxing crescent moon which was super cool with only 5% illumination this evening. Fun to zoom in to see how they split through the light at slomo.

Todays is brought to you by w/canon 100-500mm lens w/2x teleconverter and tripod - because shooting the moon always makes me happy.
