“Timeless Wisdom”

Every once in a while, I photograph something that feels less like a landscape and more like a reflection.

This tree is one of those moments.

I identify with it.

It’s weathered, scarred, and shaped by countless storms, yet it still stands with quiet strength. Time didn’t break it! …it gave it character. Every scar in its trunk is evidence that something tried to take it down and failed. It’s not the tallest tree. It’s not the prettiest tree. But it’s authentic. It’s earned every inch of who it is.

There’s a lesson in that.

Life leaves its mark on all of us. The goal isn’t to avoid the storms; it’s to become the kind of person who can stand because of them, not in spite of them.

That’s why I named this piece Timeless Wisdom. Sometimes the greatest wisdom doesn’t come from words—it comes from simply enduring.

Light trails up in Frisco… it’s been a while since I’ve been up there. Last time I was there is when I got all of my gear stolen from me. So I’ve been a little hesitant, but I’m not about to let one incident hold me back! There’s so much up there to photograph. I really miss point Reyes

It’s official today I’ve released on all streaming platforms, step into the storm.
⛈️ this song is about me and my personal life and everything that I have gone through, including where I’m going! I’m holding nothing back, I’m putting it all out there! Vulnerable, transparent, and in your face, thank you so much for those that have believed in me and thank you for those who have not believed in me because it is you that have propelled me to reach into myself to deliver this message and Song!

Float Away.. a song I produced and my friend Knotch the one singing made years ago. Seems fitting for me every day. Between my music and my photography, both of my elements to keep me balanced at times isn’t enough. Life has a way of kicking our asses. But I never give up. Always keep “trying” always remain “optimistic” and grateful for what God and the universe has brought me. I’m grateful for my best friend and son and my 2 stubborn pugs, my health and a cup of coffee at 4am when life is quiet & still for a few moments. 🙏🏽
