Saw this photoshoot idea online and immediately thought… “Ohhh I can totally make that myself.” 😂🔨📸

So naturally, off to Home Depot I went.

Mind you… I do NOT build things. I don’t know what half these tools are called, I’ve never constructed anything in my life, and I’m basically walking around Home Depot with confidence I have absolutely not earned. 😂

But when I get a photography idea in my head, apparently I become a contractor overnight. 💀

Come along with me on my Home Depot haul while I attempt to build this setup myself and repeatedly ask myself…

WHY DID I GET MYSELF INTO THIS?! 😂😂

This beautiful couple never had a traditional wedding, so they decided to dress in wedding attire and document this chapter of their love story not just for themselves, but so one day their future children can look back and see them this way.

And honestly… how sweet is that? 🥹

This is exactly why I believe photographs are so important. They aren’t just pretty images for social media or something we hang on our walls. They become part of our family history. They are little pieces of our lives that get passed down from generation to generation.
