Kellie Schlegel the absolute nerve of you to lie about my care of a puppy that I took great care of and did everything in my power to care for, all while running a business with gruelling hours and zero days off.
I fed her once a day? False. She was fed multiple meals a day.
She was in her cage for 23hrs? False. She had the house to roam when we were home, but only had one hour of playtime outside with our own dog so that we could monitor it.
You raised all the funds for her veterinary care? False. My friends and family covered her vet costs AND some.
I claimed I was experienced in giving vaccines? False. I even came to you to ask for directions.
I was told how to fill out the booklet properly? False. I was sent a picture and that was it. No explanation that the "stickers" were labels I peeled from vaccine bottles, nor that the booklet was for anything other than my own records.
I wasted vaccines? False. When I spilled the second round of her vaccine, I sent you funds for a replacement, and you clearly felt it was fine for me to attempt it again.
She was skinny when picked up after her spay appointment? False. Even after fasting, she was deemed to be a great weight - they had me stay during her weighing and temp check.
I wouldn't have got her veterinary care if the rescue didn't step in? FALSE. How disgusting to make that claim with zero evidence or without ever even meeting me. I have taken in many rescues and rehabilitated many animals with vet care. Again, MY friends and MY family donated to cover her vet costs, to the point you even said there were leftover funds that would help another animal. We donated, and would have done what we could to help her, with or without your help. We've spent a fortune on Fenja and lost income to care for her, because we CHOSE to do that and put her first. I have every right to be honest about it disrupting our lives, BUT WE DID IT, FOR 6 WEEKS, DID WE NOT? I was simply explaining to you why we were STRUGGLING.
Meanwhile, I've still never met you, because you chose to do everything via my CUSTOMER who put us in touch!
Yes, my husband got frustrated as we were doing our best yet our exhaustion got the best of us and we slept through our multiple alarms that were set for 5:40am, and being late now hindered our ability to pay our bills. Our job is not the same as working in a T-Mobile call center - WE ARE EXHAUSTED AND WERE STRUGGLING, all while you chastised my husband and made unhelpful comments while I remedied the situation myself, paying out of my own pocket AGAIN!
People get frustrated, just like you did, but nobody attacked YOU, berated YOU in front of YOUR customers, yelled "I DON'T BELIEVE YOU! I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" over you explaining that you simply misunderstood something, or blocked you so they could make a public post where they conveniently leave out a lot of information!
Thank you for reminding me that, no matter how hard you try to do the right thing and have the purest of intentions, there will still be people out there who bully you for making honest, fixable mistakes. And the adopters who have paid the $600 adoption fee and said they would also pay for private vet care to help her be transported sooner because they're excited to have her are disgusted by your handling of this too, and the fact you're also trying to paint them as trying to skip her vet care entirely. You are cruel and a liar, and blocking me to hide your disgusting post about me is why this now has to be brought up publicly. You enjoyed berating me in front of others when you could have spoken to me privately, so this should be fine!
