In honor of 250 years of American service, USAA has brought The National Military Monument™ to life through a powerful Living Monument in Washington, D.C., honoring generations of men and women who have answered the call to serve.
TXi’s own JR and Andrea recently had the opportunity to visit the monument at the Lincoln Memorial and experience the names, stories, and history represented there. The monument honors more than 41 million U.S. service members who have served throughout America’s 250-year history.
Creating a record of that magnitude is no small undertaking. No single comprehensive record of every U.S. service member exists that is available to the public, so USAA has brought together multiple public records and historical sources to commemorate as many service members as possible.
As a veteran-owned business, having members of our team experience this tribute in person carries special meaning. We are proud to honor those who have served, those who continue to serve, and the families who have supported them along the way.
The National Military Monument™ has extended its time on the National Mall and will now remain open through November 12, 2026.
