We’re so excited to announce our upcoming gallery show!!

Join us Friday, November 13 from 6–9 PM for Paddling Season, a photo gallery by Willie Maahs, documenting the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

An ode to public lands, quiet places, and the shared spaces that belong to all of us, the show celebrates a season spent paddling through one of the country’s most remarkable wilderness areas.

Come see the work, hang out, and enjoy drinks and snacks with us at Essential Photo Supply!

Our October Community Gallery is live 🎞️

This month, we’re celebrating half-frame photography and the unique stories that happen when two images live side by side.

Our October Community Gallery features half-frame diptychs from five local photographers: JehgnerPhotos Rylee Patterson | UT Photographer Henni Lauren Henwood | Sports Photographer Kenz Baker

Each photographer brings their own perspective to the format, pairing moments together to create a story beyond a single frame.

The gallery is up now at Essential Photo Supply, and original prints are available for purchase throughout the month!

Come by, take a look, and support some incredible photographers from our local film community. ❤️🎞️

Our first ever Community Gallery takedown party was on Friday! A room full of photographs, familiar faces, new friends, and the people who make this community what it is.

Thank you to everyone who submitted work, came by, brought a friend, stayed awhile, and helped us celebrate another Community Gallery. Getting to put your photographs on our walls and then watch the room fill up around them is something we’ll never get tired of.

We’re so grateful to be a small part of such a creative, curious, film-loving community here in Salt Lake City.

Until the next one:)
