Couldn’t have say it any better

This is $300. It’s a lot of money — but it also doesn’t buy much anymore.
It will buy:
• 50 gallons of diesel
• 9 bags of dog food
• 1 cart of Walmart groceries
• 60 gallons of gasoline
• 1 vet visit or doctor visit to get doxycycline for a tick bite
• ½ ton of corn
You know what else $300 will get you as a hunter? A professional tracker or drone pilot to find your wounded deer — or any other wounded animal you can’t recover on your own.
Start thinking ahead now. If you tuck a $100 bill in the back of your wallet in June, July, and August, you’ll have a “recovery fund” ready when the season hits. If you don’t end up needing it, that’s a down payment for the taxidermist — or $300 extra in your pocket for Christmas.

We thought for sure she would've been caught up on the leash she was dragging but instead she was napping behind an abandoned trailer waiting to be rescued.

2.5 miles from home and we finally found this guy completely tangled by his leash. After 40 MPH winds and heavy rain we finally got a small window to safely fly. #16 for the month with Compassionate Paws Foundation Sarah Jean

Got the call about a previously adopted rescue dog that got out in a high traffic area. Dropped everything got her located and returned safely home.

☘️ St. Patrick’s Day Update ☘️

Today is a special day for me, it’s my birthday and also the day the Ohio’s Deer Drone Map application window officially closes.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who applied. We received 116 applications from drone pilots wanting to be part of the map. That support is incredible and shows how fast this community continues to grow.

Over the next couple weeks I’ll be reviewing everything and interviews will begin the first week of April. I’ll start reaching out to applicants soon to schedule those.

This map is built around top-tier pilots, professionalism, and results, and I’m excited to see who joins the team for the upcoming season.

Maybe, I’ll see some of you at the Columbus Sportsman Show.
