A little PSA about choosing your photographer…
I’m Hilary — a wedding and portrait photographer who believes your photographer should be more than just the person holding the camera. My style is natural, true-to-color, timeless, and classy. I focus on capturing the real moments, the genuine emotions, the happy chaos, and all the little details that make your wedding or session, yours. And when I deliver your gallery, you get the keepers - ALL of them. I’m not going to make you pick a select few, and then send the rest off to live on a deserted island. I also believe affordable and high-quality can absolutely exist in the same sentence. I keep my pricing competitive because I live in the same real world you do — where groceries cost more than rent and apparently everything requires a second mortgage these days. 🫠
But here’s something I value even more than pricing: the relationship and the fit; Especially for weddings because your photographer is going to be with you through some of the biggest, most emotional, exciting, and occasionally chaotic moments of your day. If I feel like we don’t align in expectations, or overall vibe, I’d rather be honest and recommend someone who may be a better fit than take the business simply because I want the paycheck. So if you’re looking for natural, timeless, high-quality images without the “I hope you’re sitting down” price tag… and you want a photographer who takes your memories seriously but doesn’t take herself too seriously…
