Holiday Pet Portraits at MyK9

I hope everyone is off to a great start to the new year! Just a quick reminder that the Holiday Pet Portrait galleries are still open and available to view.

Whether you’ve already purchased and are thinking about adding a few more favorites, or you haven’t had a chance to make your selections yet, there’s still time. All galleries will remain open through January 31, so be sure to finalize any orders before they close.

Update: MyK9 Holiday Portrait Photos

First, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has already placed their orders—I am truly so grateful!

All photos from both event days are now posted in the gallery. I also wanted to address a few frequently asked questions and give an update on where I am in the editing process.

Please note that all images currently visible in the gallery are proofs. No editing has been done yet. Final edits—including lighting adjustments, backdrop cleanup, and removal of leashes or people—will be completed once your order is placed. Edits will be completed in the order in which purchases were received. Due to the volume of orders, final images may take up to one week to deliver. You will receive an email with a download link once your photos are finished.

Photo package options are available in the store linked through the gallery:

1 photo – $25
2 photos – $45
6 photos – $120

Packages can be combined in any quantity to match the number of photos you’d like to purchase.

To order, please visit the store (using the same gallery link), select your desired package, and then choose the photos you want included. You will need to repeat this for each package you add. If you are having difficulty, please don’t hesitate to reach out! If you “favorite” the images you want, I can place them into your cart for you, and then you’ll just log back in to complete checkout. Viewing from a computer rather than a phone typically makes the process easier.

I am currently working through orders as quickly as possible. My previous laptop was unable to handle the shear volume of photos, as the event produced approximately 9,000 that needed to be combed through. I upgraded my laptop tonight—yay!—which will significantly increase my workflow speed. If I’m not at work or asleep, I am actively editing your photos—I know how excited everyone is, and I’m just as excited to deliver them!

Good morning!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m currently still away visiting family, but I wanted to give a quick update.

My goal is to have all photos ready to view and purchase by the end of next weekend. Please note that the images you’ll see in the gallery will not be fully edited. Once you make your selections and complete your purchase, I will finish the final edits before sending the completed files for download.

I just wanted to provide a little heads-up so you know what to expect when previewing your images versus the final product. If you have any questions or concerns while making your selections, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Huge thank you to everyone who came out for holiday portraits at MyK9 today! It was such a fun day, and I loved getting to photograph all of your pups. 🐾

A special thank you to Dee, Sarah, Jacky, and Julia for helping make it all possible — seriously couldn’t have done it without you!

I’ll be back on Sunday for round two and can’t wait!!

Photos will be coming soon! It’s going to be a crazy week ahead especially wih the holiday but I promise to have these up as soon as possible!!

Maiya turned 7 yesterday. A birthday her mom wasn’t sure she’d get to see.
This girl has been through so much, but she’s still here, still loved beyond measure, and still lighting up the world around her.
Every day is a gift, and every photo we took yesterday feels like a celebration of that.

Moments like these are why I do what I do. Our dogs bring so much joy into our lives — and having beautiful photos to look back on makes that joy last even longer.
You don’t need a special occasion to celebrate them. The love you share today is already more than worth remembering. 🐾📷

Important Update for the 2025 Dog Sport Season

As we head into a new season, I’m making some changes to client galleries to keep things organized and make room for new events.

• Galleries will now expire 6 months after their post date.
• Older galleries will have a 30-day grace period before they are removed.
• If you’ve been thinking about ordering, please do so before your gallery expires.
• If a gallery has expired but you’d still like to order, I can recreate a temporary gallery for an additional fee.
