I've seen a lot of negativity in the wedding photography space lately, and it makes me so sad because wedding photography is my passion. I can't believe I have to specify this nowadays, but I do not hate my job. I am not frustrated with the photography industry or with my brides. The industry is far and wide, and the great thing is every photographer gets to make up the rules for their business. One of my rules for mine is that you will ALWAYS find positivity on my page.
This is my passion, not because "you can make more money with that than sessions." It's not my passion because of the content I can get or because it makes me look good to be the one coordinating your pictures and flow day of. This is my passion because it makes my heart explode, witnessing two best friends commit their lives to each other before God and their loved ones. I cry every time I see a father daughter dance, or an older sister cries in her speech to her baby sister, who is now grown up and is a bride. Seeing all of the details you spent months putting together come alive on your big day makes me so happy!
Your day is priceless, and you deserve a thoughtful photographer who genuinely loves you and the people you are celebrating with. I will never understand photographers who hate their jobs or who always find things to complain about with their weddings. This is the best job in the entire world, and I want to always be a safe place for brides and grooms to trust during their wedding planning and wedding day. I got you! Let's get you MARRIED!
Love, a photographer who loves her job and loves you π₯Ήπ«Άπ
P.S. thank you thank you THANK YOU to my past couples who have trusted me to capture your day. I'm literally obsessed with you!
