It is hard to believe it has been 10 years.

I was living in Orlando when the Pulse tragedy happened. I fell asleep with the TV on and woke up to the news unfolding on the screen. I remember feeling shocked, heartbroken, and angry — wondering how people could carry so much hate.

Today, we remember the 49 lives lost, the survivors, their families, and the entire LGBTQ+ community. May we continue to honor them with love, visibility, compassion, and pride.

I am deeply honored that one of my photographs was used as part of a tribute to Pulse Nightclub and the victims whose lives were taken.

The image, a photo I captured of the Lake Eola fountain lit in rainbow colors, was included in a video projection shown on the side of a building in downtown Orlando. I was more than happy to allow it to be used. It felt like the least I could do, and a small way to contribute to remembering, honoring, and standing with the community.

What a beautiful way to close out recital season with Pinellas School of Dance!

All Star Youth Photography Florida was honored to photograph and video the recital, capture the dancers on stage, and provide group photos in the lobby with our print-on-site setup before the show and during intermission.

It was amazing seeing every dancer put their best foot forward, perform with confidence, and truly shine on stage. From the costumes to the smiles to the final celebration, it was a day full of talent, hard work, and memories.

We especially loved capturing the panoramic celebration photo at the end of the show — the perfect way to remember a wonderful recital season.

Thank you to Pinellas School of Dance, the dancers, families, and staff for allowing us to be part of such a special event!

Honored to Photograph Madeira Beach Leadership Again

St Jean Creative Photography was proud to return to Madeira Beach City Hall to update the official executive portraits for the city’s newly elected commissioner and create a new group photo of the city’s executive leadership team.

This marks our 5th time photographing official portraits for the City of Madeira Beach, and we are truly honored to continue being trusted with this important work. May the 4th Be With You: A Throwback Engagement Session with Personality

To celebrate Star Wars Day and May the 4th, we’re looking back at one of our favorite engagement sessions with Jessica and Pricilla.

During our session planning chat, they mentioned they were big Star Wars fans. That gave us an idea: bring the lightsabers, wear the shirts, and let us create something fun, personal, and unforgettable.

They showed up with Star Wars shirts and lightsabers, and we turned part of their engagement session into a playful, creative photo experience that truly reflected who they are as a couple.
