Before you know what their little cry sounds like.
Before you know exactly how they like to be held.
Before you know whose eyes they have or what makes them smile.
Before you know what it feels like to hear someone call you Mom.
Right now, you’re still waiting.
Everyone is so focused on the baby that’s coming that it’s easy to forget something pretty huge is happening to you, too.
You’re becoming a mom for the very first time.
And I think this version of you deserves more than a quick belly picture before she disappears into everything that comes next.
She deserves to be seen.
To feel beautiful exactly as she is.
To celebrate the woman she is right now, before she becomes someone new.
