Everyone thinks it’s the swaddle.
And yes, a good wrap can absolutely help a baby feel secure.
But the wrap isn’t the secret.
The secret is slowing down.
Following baby’s lead.
Creating an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and never rushed.
Because whether I’m working with a 7-day-old newborn or a feral 3-year-old who’s one Goldfish cracker away from a meltdown, the goal is the same:
Connection first.
Photos second.
When kids feel safe, included, and like they’re part of the experience instead of being forced through it, everything changes.
The smiles are real.
The moments are genuine.
And the session feels a whole lot easier for everyone involved.
It’s actually the same reason my favorite toddler hack works so well during family sessions.
Comment **SECRET** and I’ll send it to you.
