I believe it’s been over a year since I’ve shown my face on here (yikes)!
…And how can I ask you guys to trust and welcome me into your homes and with your families if I’m not allowing you to get to know me a little before inquiring!? I’m a photographer (duh), and above all else, I’m a mother. Right after I turned 26, I found out I was going to be a mom, very unexpectedly. It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me… Growing, birthing, and raising my daughter is the greatest thing I have and will ever do with my life. And I thank God every day for blessing me with the responsibility of being Isla’s mom.
We live in a little house in the twin cities, surrounded by such an amazing community. When I was 19, I rescued a dog, Bentley. He’ll be 10 this fall. Last summer my daughter and I rescued a kitten, Nala. With a 2.5yo, dog and cat, there’s hardly ever a dull moment around here.
…yes, I am very tired.
Before photography I was a personal trainer, nutritionist, and nanny. I graduated from a recording arts high school and used to sing in a choir. I’ve never been great with numbers, geography, or really any sort of core academic subject. But as you can see, I’ve always had an interest in serving people, supporting families and children, and art. I took those passions of mine and created this business. I am here to serve you, support you, and provide you with sincere, tangible memories that you can look back on and pass down for generations.
I do not take the responsibility of documenting your family’s life lightly. From proposal, to wedding day, and the life that follows the vows… I hope I can serve you so well the first time that you continue to welcome me back for years to come.
