On my wishlist for 2026: a social media manager so I can be done with this sporadic, I never have time to post schedule. šŸ«£šŸ«£šŸ«£šŸ˜

Donā€™t worry, though. Iā€™m alive and well! Happy New Year! Weā€™re busy over here in the thick of hockey season, being mom to 3 wild boys and just trying to find time to be presentā€” oh and learning how to run a successful business that is completely new to me! šŸ˜

My plan is to take January and February to slow down. Maybe itā€™ll give me time to post my work more- but maybe not. One thing I know, though, is Iā€™ll update you all when Iā€™m ready post my schedule for 2026!

Iā€™ll be doing monthly mini sessions this year, starting in April. So, stay tuned!

Itā€™s been a while since I said hi. A lot has changed and yet, it hasnā€™t ā™„ļø

Iā€™m a mom to 3 boys, and sports are life (iykyk).
Iā€™ve been capturing families for almost 15 years. I strive to be a storyteller, none of that ā€œlook at the camera and say cheese B.S.ā€, because as a mom, I know how meaningful each little quirk, behavior, and detail can be. One minute youā€™ve got a chubby little boy toddling around, and the next minute heā€™s 9, and you wonder where the time went. And I donā€™t know about you, but motherhood has brought me a poor memory, and I need to document it all!

I can officially say Iā€™m a retired pediatric nurse nowā€” itā€™s crazy to think! I have officially joined forces with my mother-in-law, who is a powerhouse retail packaging distributer! Say what?! Basically, we sell bags, tissue, boxes, labels and giftwrap to retail stores. As the consumer, you walk into a store and purchase thingsā€¦. the bags the store puts them in is what we do! Itā€™s fun, itā€™s creative and I get to help brands STANDOUT!

So, 2026 will bring change around here. Sessions will be more thoughtful and my schedule will be more limited/condensed. Over the next few days Iā€™ll be updating Instagram of new processes and offerings that are coming!

I have an idea šŸ’”

What if we change the narrative of family photos? Whatever do I mean? Well what if familiesā€”instead of showing up ready for the camera, we [photographers] show up for your family? What if we stopped thinking about smiling AT THE CAMERA and instead prepped your family to have an adventure together, and that a photographer would tag along to document the memories you created?

What if we shifted our view of family photos to be less about the cameraā€¦ and more about your family! Isnā€™t capturing the memories what itā€™s all about? Savoring this phase of life?

I like that idea.

Life as a busy mom of 3 has caught up to me and insta has unfortunately taken a backseat, but boy, do I have some life updates to share. Iā€™ll save it for another post but just wanted to stop in, say hello, let you know Iā€™m still out here capturing narratives and spending time with the best tribe around.

This may be an unpopular opinionā€¦. But you know whatā€™s better than tipping your family photographer?

Asking them back year after year to capture your family!!

This is my 5th year capturing this sweet family and there is no bigger compliment. Iā€™ve watched this little girl grow up and there is no stranger danger here ā€” just fun and memories made!

I never got to share one of my FAVORITE sessions from last summer of this incredible family! They wanted to wear band tshirts and sports jerseys and just be themselves - and we went all in. We played, scootered, skateboarded and just hung out and it was the most refreshing session and really allowed their story to be told!
