Working on something a bit different in my free time, and loosely following a lovely tutorial by Helen Carter. My first time working on black paper and my first floral piece. I am learning a lot! It has been a nice challenge, and I think more florals will be in my future. 💜

I can't believe it has been 5 years since I drew the gorgeous Betty! 😍

Betty was a puppy from my first boxer litter. It's always extra special when I am asked to draw one of the dogs that I bred. Betty has since passed away and I know this memorial portrait is cherished even more now. ❤

A little throwback to the portrait I drew of the darling French Bulldog, Herbie. I was so happy to be able to create a lasting, cherished memory of their heart dog. 💙

Happy New Year!

I had the pleasure of drawing ten beautiful dogs, one donkey, and some honey bees in 2025. I was also honored to have my honey bee drawing featured in Ann Kullberg's Color Magazine.

I wanted to thank each and every one of you that has supported me this last year, and the years before, from commissioning portraits, purchasing prints, liking/commenting/sharing my posts, following my pages, referring others to me, and wishing me well. I appreciate you all so much. 🥰

I'm excited to see where 2026 takes me and looking forward to drawing more beautiful animals. ❤️✍️🏻

I thought it would be fitting to end the last day of the year with the last portrait I drew for the year. ❤️✍️🏻

Here is the completed portrait of the adorable Milo 😍 I enjoyed every minute drawing his sweet face. I loved all his grey hairs, speckled throughout his fur. A distinguished little gentleman.
