Hello Family, Friends and Clients!
As you may have heard, (or not) I have decided to go into semi-retirement. After 18 years on my own, 41 years in the business and with our family changing (new grand-baby on the way!). It was time for me to step back from a lot of my work. Over the last month I have been saying good-bye to my schools, gymnastics, dance studio and sports leagues.
The plan is to do only portrait work. Seniors, families, children, business portraits and possibly small events. I will still have the studio in my home.
I want to thank the Swan Valley School District for my start with my sports photography. I gained so much from my years with you. You gave me more than a job. You gave me a community I love, a chance to be with the students and it brought me new friends in getting to know the staff at all the schools. Once a Viking, Always a Viking!
Thank you to Carolanne Killmer School of Dance for your lifelong friendship and allowing me to be your photographer. I have loved watching the dancers grow and change every year. Carolanne, your commitment to and love of your students amaze me. They are so
lucky to have you and I am so lucky to be able to call you my friend.
Thank you to Mid Michigan Gymnastics. What can I say except you're family. 26 years together with Molly there for 13 years and me photographing during and after those years. I have loved every year together.
To all my leagues and schools, THANK YOU! It was the kids, I lit up for the kids.
To all of the athletes, coaches and families who trusted me with your memories, thank you for your support, kindness and loyalty throughout the years. I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity every friendship and every smile along the way. While it's bittersweet to close this chapter, I leave with a full heart and so many memories. Thank you all for being such a special part of this journey.
