So much of this day felt exactly like what I want wedding photography to be… beautiful, intentional, but still completely alive.

The portraits matter. The details matter. But so do the glances across the table, the people making you laugh, the room getting louder as the night goes on, and a dance floor like you couldn’t believe.

This color palette felt like the perfect transition from summer into fall — soft, romantic, and just a little unexpected.

Every floral detail was stunning, but it was the quieter moments that stayed with me most. Hannah and Sean chose to share private vows together, stepping away from the celebration for a few minutes to be completely present with each other (and pulling me out of Lake Huron 🫣😭- peep the last photo right before I took an unexpected dip- camera was unharmed)

That balance is always what I’m drawn to: a day that feels thoughtfully designed, but never overly produced. Beautiful details, intentional choices, and enough space to actually experience the people and moments they were created around.

Hannah + Sean, you were an absolute dream. 🤍

Courtney and Eric are the kind of people who make you forget you’re working.

There was so much laughter woven into this day. The kind that happens when two people are completely comfortable with each other and genuinely having the best time together.

Courtney sipping ch*****ne in the tub before getting dressed. Eric seeing her for the first time. The two of them laughing through portraits and truly enjoying each others presence.

^^^that is always what I want for my couples.

Beautiful photographs, yes. But also space to breathe, laugh, move, be present, and actually remember what the day felt like.

Courtney and Eric, you two were an absolute joy.
