FIRST YEAR COLLECTIONS- UPDATE

8 years ago this month Shingleur Photography launched our first ever First Year Collections! Over the last 8 years I have had hundreds of families book a First Year Collection to celebrate the new addition of a sweet little family member and it’s been the sweetest journey!

I am so excited to welcome even more people into our First Year Family and I wanted to let everyone know of my remaining availability for the rest of the year!

My fall booking calendar will open next week on Monday for VIPs and the following Monday (June 15) for the public. As usual, pricing and packages will be adjusted on June 22nd so it’s important to book your 2026 sessions before this if you’d like to get the best date and also save money!!

I’ll also have a very important announcement on June 15th as well that you don’t want to miss!!! 🙂

Here is my remaining openings for new FIRST YEAR COLLECTION families!

These openings are for babies that are DUE in these months:
June: 1 opening
July: 1 opening
August: Full
September: Full
October: 2 openings
November: 2 openings
December: 2 openings

These are definitely less than what I’ve taken on in the past and I can explain that more later! If you or someone you know is expecting a little one this year- reach out to me ASAP to book your collection now to save $$$ and to secure your spot!!
(Recommend booking after your first initial dr’s appointment)

Thank Heaven for little boys 💙 Love this sweet family! A brand new COLORFUL studio mini session for your kiddo's COLORFUL personality!!!

COLOR POP MINIS!! :D

These minis will be in my studio in Conway, AR!
For ages 6m-12 years!
5-10 minute minis for only $100! :)

These would be PERFECT to celebrate a fun milestone in your kiddo's life like their birthday or the "end of 3rd grade"!! :)

Feel free to bring fun (mess free) props along too to add even more color!!

“Someday we will dream about today”— I felt like those lyrics from this song perfectly matched this session because we dreamed about our lives as “grown ups” with these special people so long ago at this very spot! 2027 SENIORS!!! Now that summer is OFFICIALLL welcome to YOUR YEAR!! Eeeek! You’ve waited so long for your moment and it’s HERE!! So many firsts and lasts to come this year and if you’re still searching for the right senior photographer to capture them all- pick me, pick me!!! I know many of you have been following along with our little business since its beginning and probably remember when we announced that we were expecting this guy and now here he is 10 years old today! Happy Birthday, Quinn!! :) He’s certainly had his picture taken once or twice in his life haha! A BERRY sweet first birthday!! This sweet girl celebrated her first birthday, so of course we had to have a very special first birthday studio session! First birthday sessions are always very bittersweet for me because I have enjoyed getting to know and celebrate this precious girl’s FIRST YEAR of life alongside her amazing parents! But also sweet because just look at how much fun she is! I absolutely love a first birthday session in the studio and I am booking these for June and July! None of us knew that the little baby inside momma’s tummy was a GIRL so it’s only fitting that we shot their maternity photos with flowers in every frame!! Cannot wait to share sweet baby girl’s First 48 session and get to shoot her newborns soon! Happy Mother’s Day to ALLLL of the amazing mom’s out there! Moms truly do make life more beautiful in every sense of the word! I’m so honored and privileged to get to be in a creative space that works so closely with moms from all over the country, and let me tell you, they are AMAZING humans! To every mom that I’ve ever photographed- YOU are incredible!! I see how much you love your babies and feel how much you cherish them. I see you carrying that invisible and oftentimes physical load that motherhood brings and you do it all looking like a SUPERMODEL at the same time! To every mom I’ve ever photographed, Happy Mother’s Day to YOU! Something about being a parent just changes you! I see it over and over again with my First Year Families. I’ll shoot with them at maternity pictures and sense their excitement of the unknown of how exactly to bring a child into the world and raise it up well. I see the tiredness on their faces, anxiousness and fullness when we meet again for their first newborn session. Then it all comes full circle at the 1st birthday session. Where there was once a dad unsure of how to hold his little one- here he is running and laughing and making a fool of himself to get them to smile. Where there was once a mom not quite sure what her new little one needs to soothe is pulling out ALL the stops at that first birthday session because she knows JUST what to do. Now, the Houston family you see here have been experts from the start but I do smile to myself when I see sweet sessions like these over and over full of so much love and SOOO much growth. Because not only does a First Year Collection capture how much your baby grows- but how much you do too.🤍
