Last month, our only son proposed to his girlfriend of 2+ years. Watching them grow up together has been a joy and I'm excited to see what their future looks like. I know one thing for sure...it won't be dull.

For several reasons, I don’t photograph many weddings. Today’s was one I wouldn’t have missed for the world though. Our favorite 5th grade teacher, a Russellville Intermediate School legend, married his beautiful sweetheart. ❤️❤️

Twelve years ago today, I took a leap of faith and officially opened TLC Photography. I'd had people tell me over the years that they thought I should take pictures professionally so I decided to give it a try. I'll admit that back then, I was naive and thought very little about the actual business part of my decision but with a lot of hustle, sweat, tears, and a ton of prayers, I'm still here 12 years later.

Over the last few weeks, I have decided to make a few business changes. I'll still be here for all the sports, families, weddings, etc. I'm just going to expand a little. Although I'm not ready to publicly release details, they will be coming in the next week or so.

I'm so very thankful for everyone who has supported me over the last 12 years. As a small business owner, everything matters. Every social media like, comment, and share is vital. Every recommendation is appreciated. And of course, I always welcome the prayers and kind words. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. It is because of you all that I get to live out my dream. ❤️

Santa pictures are done for the year and I can’t praise my people enough. I typically work alone but this was a project that I needed help with. Even with the craziness of the season, I had a team of people that came thru for me every single time. From talking to people, taking payments, helping with descriptions, etc, they were there every step of the way.

Stephanie, thank you for always being there for me. We’ve been through a lot and I don’t know what I’d do without you. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude were contagious.

Marissa, that giggly 7 year old little girl I met so many years ago, thank you for all your help. I looked forward to your smiles every day. (I hate we didn’t get a picture!!)

And Rob, thank you. There’s no one else I‘d rather live with AND work with. I love you. ❤️
