A home doesn't need to look completely empty to photograph well. Clear the clutter. Tidy the surfaces. Put away the things that distract from the space.
But leave some of the personality. The goal is to help people picture themselves there, not make the home feel like nobody lives there.

Keep this in mind before photo day.

One of the easiest ways to prepare for listing photos is to simply walk through the home first. Look at the spaces the way a buyer would.
Notice the clutter, the little distractions, and the things that make the home feel welcoming. A few small adjustments before photo day can make the whole shoot go more smoothly.
