If the thought of family photos makes you picture everyone standing perfectly still and smiling at the camera, take a breath. That isn't how every session has to look.
I actually love when families let their children be themselves. We can play, walk, cuddle, laugh, explore, and let the little moments happen naturally. Sometimes the photographs that become your favorites are the ones where nobody was trying too hard to look perfect.
Your family doesn't need to behave perfectly for your photos to be beautiful. They just need to be yourselves.
