Oh SHEET! 😝

Do sheet colors matter in your Airbnb?
The answer is YES!

The best color sheets you can have in your Airbnb is white. White is neutral and naturally compliments any other decór.

White sheets are also the easiest to bleach, no fading, and provides that crispy fresh and clean hotel look that guests will appreciate.

If you think white sheets are too bland looking for the bed, remember you have the entire rental space to go crazy with color! Also, don’t be afraid to add a colorful throw or decorative pillows on the bed to bring in that pop💥of color!

It’s been a little quiet over here at , but I haven’t forgotten about, my Cabin friends! 🙋🏽‍♀️
Life and work have been super busy lately. 🙃

For those followers that didn’t know, I am a wedding photographer at () and weddings have gone in full effect since July! In fact, I just came back from Jamaica 🇯🇲 last week from photographing a destination wedding. As I get my kids ready to go back to school next week, in-person, full time, I will be taking some time to create a new home/work life balance as we adjust to what our new norm is.

Last week, I was able to go back to the mountains for the day and take in some fresh air and beautiful lake views while I photographed another one of newest masterpiece, Palisades Point Lake House.

Many Airbnb and cabin owners are taking new safety precautions to give guests a safer, Covid-FREE experience when staying at their property.

Here are a few of the modifications that Airbnb and cabin owners can make in order to create a safe environment for their guests:

✔︎ Go keyless for guest entry: Don’t worry about touching the same keys or misplacing your rental keys, going keyless is not only convenient but sanitary too! After all, it’s easy enough to wipe the key pad down in between guests.

✔︎ Simplifying the space: Ditch some of the fancy and unnecessary decor so that it decreases the amount of touch surfaces around the space. This will also help keep your place tidy and cleaning will be much easier. Trust me, your housekeeper will appreciate this!

✔︎ Allow For One Night In Between Guests:
When planning out your Airbnb calendar, the app actually allows you to block out one night in between guests. This allows a full 24 hours to pass without anyone needing to enter your Airbnb. While it is not fully known how long the virus remains on certain surfaces, it can’t hurt to allow the extra time.

✔︎ Update your guide book: Keeping the guide book updated with Covid friendly activities around the area and tips is a great way to guide your guests into a safer stay.

✔︎ Leave cleaning supplies or a “Covid kit” out for guests to access: Furnish your rental space with anti-bacterial hand soap, disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes to keep your guests feeling clean, safe, and more comfortable during their stay.
With these items at their disposal, guests can regularly wash their hands and any items they bring into the AirBnB.

The Sunset Cabin is finally available and is ready for you to book your mountain getaway! This renovated cabin located in the Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake is perfect for a family or a group of good friends looking for a quiet mountain retreat. The interior with the exposed knotty pine throughout is the quintessential cabin feel and makes for a cozy stay.

My Husband and I had the pleasure of spending our anniversary at The Sunset Cabin. It was spacious and thoughtfully furnished and every space is quaint and charming!

- 2 bedrooms, master bedroom is cozy and has a queen bed and the second bedroom is perfect for a kids/teen room, with (2) twin beds summer camp style and has a pull out twin trundle

- The spacious kitchen has most everything you'll need (except the food 😜) to prepare a home-cooked meal and a dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze.
- Perfect for meals, drinks, and meaningful conversations, the dining area comfortably seats 6 and has an over-sized window looking out to the tree-filled backyard.
- Gather around the wood-burning fireplace with your favorite board game of choice from an impressive closet filled wall of games or snuggle on the couch and settle in and watch a movie.
- The backyard is where you'll want to spend time BBQing and enjoying the mountain scenery and local wildlife and do a little bird watching.
