I recently explored Alaska’s Inside Passage and Glacier Bay National Park aboard the Wilderness Legacy with . Being able to experience the jaw dropping beauty of Alaska by kayak, skiff, and on foot by bushwacking or meandering was truly the adventure of a lifetime.

​Thankfully, I brought more than just my spirit of adventure; I also packed my Sony A7V paired with the 50-400mm for that essential focal reach, and the newly released 25-200mm G2 for its compact versatility. These are a few of my favorite images from an unforgettable journey.

Yesterday, I spent the whole day relaxing by the fire and practicing photographing birds in flight. First up is a female red-bellied woodpecker. Next are the new tenants, the black-capped chickadees. They moved in recently and are building their nest. Lastly is a woodthrush. These guys (females don't sing) play the flute from high up in the trees 🪈 — my favorite song of the song birds.
