shout out sunday to these ladies- co-owners kate zvonek + kaitlin busch ! i had the incredible honor to snap some photos a month or so ago for their new practice, Treehouse Therapies ! such a beautiful, intentional space that parallels the amazing work they do with their patients.

you both are amazing 👏🏼

also- do you recognize the little models for the shoot? 🤭

this week we’ve really started to see bigger pops of fall color in michigan. while i adore the color and it is always one of my favorite times to do photoshoots, i also love late summer shoots, when the temps have cooled down a bit, the color is just starting to peak out and the fall lighting has made an entrance. it’s like waiting in anticipation for the autumn show to begin 🍂✨

this family session reminded me of that a few weeks back. i’m forever thankful photography helps me notice these little changes each season. what a blessing that i get to help families capture special memories- with a stunning michigan backdrop ✋🏼

when we first pulled up to this park we realized it was under construction and there were 3 or 4 pieces of large construction equipment and rock/ dirt piles. we were able to squeeze into a few spots with that beautiful sunshine and as it turned out, peeking into a dump truck and pile of rocks might of been just the activity this little guy needed to warm up to photos 🚧👏🏼

we’ll go ahead and say i planned it out that way 😉 sure, a huge part of photography are the photo outcome but sometimes, the experience is just as important and learning to get creative and pivot at any time is a major part of the work !

can’t wait to meet your sweet addition soon, fischer fam! 🤍
