On Mar. 28, 2026, residents of Rochester and the surrounding towns gathered at the Genesee Gateway Park in Rochester N.Y. to join in the nation wide No King's Day Protest. The protest drew thousands of upstate N.Y. residents as they gathered for and marched in opposition to the current U.S. presidential administration and the actions the presidency is taking. This was the third No King's Day Portest, first of 2026, organized during the 47th President's second term.

On Mar. 2, 2026, the number 1 seed Pittsford Boys Ice Hockey hosted the number 2 seed Hilton Boys Ice Hockey in the Section V Class A Championship game at the Gene Polissini Center at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester N.Y.. Pittsford would open the game up with a goal in the first minute, but Hilton fought back and took down the defending champions, 5-2, crowning the Hilton Cadets Section V Ice Hockey champions for the first time ever in team history

On Feb. 28, 2026, Michael Stoerger and the Monroe County Fire Hockey team hosted the Monroe County Town Police in the return of the Winter Classic at the Tim Hortons Iceplex in Henrietta N.Y.. The Winter Classic is a fundraiser ice hockey game that benefits the Breast Cancer Coalition and raised over 25K in it's return after a one year hiatus. The travel to the LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo N.Y on Sat. Dec. 6, 2025, to face off against the Canisius Golden Griffins. The Golden Griffins would capp off their first ever Teddy Bear Toos night with a 4-2 win against the Tigers, splitting the weekend series at 1 win each.

infielder and Rochester local visited the as part of the Red Wings Small Business Saturday event. Additionally the City of Rochester gifted Clement a key to the city and proclaimed Nov. 29th. 2025 as "Ernie Clement

Day."

Fans started lining up hours before Clement was scheduled to show up, creating a line that, at it's peak, wove through the Red Wings parking lot. While only pencilled in for a 2 hour signing, Clement pushed for the fan first experience and stayed until every last fan in line got a chance to meet him and have memorabilia signed. less

On Dec. 29th, 2025, Bule Jay's infielder and Rochester local visited the as part of the Red Wings Small Business Saturday event. Additionally the City of Rochester gifted Clement a key to the city and proclaimed Nov. 29th. 2025 as "Ernie Clement Day."

It was a great year, filled with a lot of baseball, and sports in general. Got to meet and work with a lot of cool people. Enjoyed my first internship with the and spent almost every hour I could at, and on top of, the ball park.
