Maybe it's their wild spirits that draw them together... because nothing quite comes close to the bond between a girl and a horse.

Something that is pretty special to me are those families that continue to come back. Whether it be every year or every few years. It is so much fun to meet with them again and get a little life update and see how their family has grown from year to year.

A few photos we did of a beautiful home coming on the market. If you went to the East Idaho Parade of Homes you may recognize it as home number 5, built by Heartland Builders. We appreciate Tori Rainey with Hamlet Realty for reaching out and getting the oppritunity to take the listing photos.

When I first came upon this Elk I called him Unicorn, I don't believe he is known by that but if you look at the capture you may see why I called him that. I have seen a few sources none that I know of as offical that have said this bull was struck by a car a few days ago and has passed. He was such a fun young bull to watch when we were in Rocky Moutain a few years ago and I am sad that we will never get the chance to go back and see this bull again as he was quite an intresting one to keep tabs on.

It has been a minute since we introduced ourselves, we are DK Studios. My name is Kristi I am typically the main point of contact and primary shooter and editor. Dakota does lighting, video and is second shooter depending on the session or event. A little about us we met on a dating sight Dakota asked me what camera I shoot as his opening liner and we spent our time dating, photographing wildlife yes we both were photographers before we met so it just made sense to have photo dates. We got married in 2021 and combined our photography to create DK Studios shortly after. We love getting to meet new people as well as old friends and getting to capture their families and special moments.
