Just popping by to say I’m still here! I am slowly getting back into the groove of running a business post partum. I’m still not 100% as now I am seeing many specialists as well as Miller is now seeing gastroenterology and speech for his feeding issues. I have been completely living in a little medical bubble.

I will be back to taking mew clients, scheduling sessions with returning clients, and everything else in between on September 1st.

A few little notes. I will only be doing 2-3 mini session days this fall. Also, most sessions will be scheduled week nights due to using my husbands days off from work so we know Miller has someone who understands his eating difficulties, watching him. I don’t know how long this will need to happen-hopefully not long but for the time being I need to put his care and health first as we navigate this.

I am super excited to come back! Thank you all for sticking around and waiting for me 🙂 I really appreciate it!

I am just realizing I never announced our son is here! Everyone, meet Miller! We had an eventful birth and after birth for me as I navigated post pregnancy preclampsia. This is definitely taking a tole on my body and frankly causing me to not feel ready to get back behind the camera just yet. I am now being followed by many specialists because I cannot keep fluid off my lungs.

I will be back soon once I am at 100%

Miller is the perfect addition to our family but unfortunately has had a few complications as well including needing surgery to correct pyloric stenosis.

After a combined 4 weeks in the hospital we are back home and healing 🙂

This session felt bigger than just birthday pictures 👑✨

For a long time, we thought this adventurous, sassy girl might be the last little baby in our family and watching her grow from a tiny toddler into this bold(sometimes mean), sparkling, princess loving 3 year old has been one of the greatest joys. There’s something so emotional about realizing the babies you once helped rocked to sleep are suddenly full little people with HUGE personalities, BIG opinions, and the kind of magic only kids carry.

And somehow, this became my last session before welcoming our own baby this week. A quiet ending to one chapter and the beginning of another. I’ll never stop being grateful that photography lets me hold onto these fleeting little moments for just a little longer 💕✨

Just another update as we will be induced next THURSDAY. yep…8 days from now. There is a 50/50 chance this delivery will be C-Section as this kiddo is frank breech and will not flip. I will keep everyone updated on when my return time from maternity leave will be 🙂
