I guess I began my passion as a mom-o-grapher but my love of photography peaked when we lived in Monterrey, Mexico with our then four small children. While traveling through central Mexico, we wanted to preserve every cultural beauty and detail in our hearts. We were able to bring a little of Mexico home with us through photos and the love of photojournalism began. If I go way back... I was the kid who sat for hours with all of the boxes of photos in the hall of my parents house. I would bring a small box of pictures with me on our Sunday drives in the country. My first "job" around 10yrs old was selling wrapping paper and greeting cards to neighbors, so I could buy my own polaroid. I have always LOVED pictures and looking back at memories made. Since Mexico, we have added three more children; two adopted and one biological and we take a lot of pictures. On a whim a few years back, I took some engagement pics for friends- which led to taking photos at their wedding-which led to him building me a mock website for a web class. They they have continued to encourage me to grow beyond the walls of my own home, a scary thing for a stay at home mom for the last 18 years, but it is also very exciting to make something my own after all this time. I homeschool my kiddos until high school- except our last one- he was a welcome surprise addition, he happily attends private school across the street from our house. My family consists of my husband Mike, our children~Olivia, Gretta, Ella, Dayne, Diego, Yerly and Jude and our furry friend Beso
