As a photographer, my pricing is set pricing there’s no negotiating.

And honestly, my prices are already pretty affordable compared to many photographers in the area.

Yet I still get the “Can you do it cheaper?” message.

The answer is no… ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Here’s just a small glimpse into what goes into running a photography business:

• $4,000 camera
• $2,000 computer
• $1,000 lenses
• $200 batteries + chargers
• $350 memory cards

And that’s not even including:

• Editing subscriptions
• Gas and travel costs
• Props + backdrops
• Lighting equipment
• Client closet
• Advertising and marketing
• Hard drives + storage
• Education and training
• Equipment repairs + upgrades
• Years spent learning and building skills
• Time spent shooting, editing, emailing, planning sessions, delivering galleries, bookkeeping, and so much more.

When you hire a photographer, you’re not just paying for one hour of taking photos.

You’re paying for the equipment, experience, creativity, editing, and countless hours behind the scenes that make those images possible.

So $260 for a one-hour session really isn’t that bad. 🤍
