Happy Tuesday, friends! 🤍📸
There’s been a lot of conversation lately about children’s photos being shared online, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about as both a parent and a business owner. I have become more private myself this season, I’m the worse with posting in general. We see the people we love in person so posting on FB is the last of my list.
Sharing the beautiful families and little ones I’ve had the privilege of photographing is such a huge part of promoting my photography business, and I’m incredibly grateful to every family who has trusted me to share their images throughout the years 🤍 h o w e v e r
At the same time, I recognize the realities and dangers of the internet in 2026 and how important privacy and protecting our families can be. I’ve noticed a few past clients who have chosen to become more private on social media, and I completely respect that - - -
So, if you’re a past client and you would prefer that I remove your photos or your child’s photos — from my photography page, please feel absolutely comfortable reaching out to me. There is no explanation needed, and I will 1000% respect your decision. ⬇️⬇️
Your comfort, your family’s privacy, and your trust in me will always matter more than a photo on my page. And just a little reminder, there are SO many ways we can capture your family without having everyone’s faces front and center so you can still have the joy of sharing 💕
Some of my favorite images are the candid ones anyway… the kids running away, laughing together, holding hands, snuggling up, looking out at the water. So many fun ways to still have safe sharing 🖤
