The Moon At 99% 🌕
The night after the lunar eclipse, I captured this high resolution image of the Moon when it was exactly 99%
In my processing of this image I showcase the natural mineral colors across the surface, revealing subtle blue, orange, and brown tones that are normally almost impossible to see with the naked eye! But these colors are 100% real and detectable by most cameras 📸
These colors come from differences in the minerals on the lunar surface, including areas of titanium rich basalt and varying iron areas! 🟠🟦
This image was taken with a Celestron 6SE telescope, Uranus M camera, and Canon USA T6i DSLR! 🔭
