Perched beneath Sedona’s endlessly changing skies, this retreat was made for lingering—from sun-soaked afternoons by the pool to evenings in the spa, sauna, or bar. With inviting places to gather, lounge, and take in the red-rock landscape from every angle, the entire property feels a little bit magical.

This incredible Sedona retreat, with unobstructed views of Mammoth Rock, is one of those places. From sunrise on the viewing decks to evenings in the hot tub, relaxing in the sauna, game nights with the family, and spaces designed for every age, every corner invites you to slow down and take it all in.

Capturing homes like this is about more than photographing beautiful architecture—it's about telling the story of the experience waiting for the next guest.

There's something about standing beneath giant sequoias that instantly makes everything feel a little quieter.

This cabin sits high above the valley in Sequoia Crest, surrounded by some of California's most incredible forests. The expansive deck—with its lounge areas, dining space, and hot tub—makes it hard to spend any time indoors.

These are the properties I love photographing most. Places that don't just look beautiful—they make you want to stay a little longer. 🌲

There's something special about photographing a space where every detail has been considered.

Just wrapped up this beautiful project in Altadena with Studio Mosaic, and it was one of those homes that kept revealing new compositions as I worked my way through it. Thoughtful materials, layered textures, and a clean, timeless design made every room feel intentional.

It's always a pleasure working with designers who create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

Some properties make you stop and wonder where to start.

This Scottsdale home has a little bit of everything... an incredible pool, sauna, cold plunge, tennis and pickleball court, basketball, golf, bocce ball, an outdoor movie setup, multiple lounge spaces, and enough room to spend an entire weekend without ever leaving the property. Ill have to make another post or 2 to show off all the amenities.

As a photographer, these are the kinds of homes I love to shoot. Every corner has a story, every space has a purpose, and every amenity invites you to slow down and enjoy it.

Scottsdale definitely knows how to do outdoor living.

Some backyards just feel like Palm Springs.

From the pool and fire pit to the multiple lounge areas, every corner of this space was designed to slow you down and enjoy the desert evenings. And when dusk rolls in? That's when the magic really happens.

These are the kinds of spaces I love photographing—where great design, beautiful light, and a little Palm Springs atmosphere all come together.

You can always tell when a property has a real story behind it.

I recently photographed this beautifully designed one-bedroom in the heart of Palm Springs, and the owner’s love of film is woven throughout the entire space. The details feel personal, intentional, and full of character without ever feeling overdone.

And even with a smaller footprint, they made every inch count—especially in the backyard.

A great reminder that thoughtful design and a little personality can completely transform a space. 🎬🌴

One thing I always enjoy is adding little touches that make a place feel connected to where it is.

This home is in Los Angeles, so an In-N-Out spread just felt right. 🍔

It's a small detail, but details are what make photos feel lived in instead of staged. They help tell the story of the home and the experience someone might have while staying there.

I love finding those little moments during a shoot—they're usually what make the images the most memorable.
