📸 Would you pay $1,000 for a portrait session?
What about $500? $250?
Here’s the thing…
the price of a photographer doesn’t always tell you whether they’re the right photographer for YOU.
When you start searching for a portrait photographer, the pricing can feel a little wild. One person charges a few hundred dollars. Another charges $1,000+. And meanwhile, the phone in your pocket takes pretty amazing photos. 😅
So what are you ACTUALLY paying for?
I wrote a new blog post breaking down what goes into the cost of professional portrait photography from experience and editing to location scouting, lighting, wardrobe, posing, creative direction, and all the little things happening behind the scenes.
But more importantly, I talk about something I think gets overlooked:
✨ How do you know if a photographer is actually worth their price?
Because the goal shouldn't just be finding the cheapest photographer.
It should be finding someone whose style, experience, vision, and approach match what you want to create.
👇 I’m curious: What matters MOST to you when choosing a photographer: price, style, experience, personality, or something else?
Tell me in the comments. 👀
