“Gary Burden & I photographed the Eagles in Joshua Tree for their first album cover. Their next record was a western album, so we took them to the deserted Paramount Movie Ranch, dressed them in cowboy outfits, gave them guns with blank ammunitions and took photos of them playing gun slingers all afternoon. A bunch of their assorted roadies and friends (including Jackson Browne & JD Souther) also came to share in the fun.” - Henry Diltz

Back in the 1960s, I made my very own ‘Virgo Love Beads’ that I wore every day. During this time, I was the official photographer on The Monkees TV show and the guys all became my dear pals. The first day I wore them on set, Davy Jones asked me to make him a pair and the next thing we knew, all the Teeny Bopper magazines were calling them ‘Monkees Love Beads’! After many inquiries and all these decades, I’ve decided to make them again as part of a Collector’s Set.

This Special Edition includes a hand signed 8x10” print of either The Monkees or Davy Jones, with Blue & White Love Beads, hand-strung with love. It’s a little piece of music history, made with the same spirit of peace, friendship, and joy that inspired them all those years ago. Available now, exclusively on my website!
