🇮🇸 **Iceland — 12 Days I’ll Never Forget** 🇮🇸
There truly are no words or photographs that can fully capture the beauty of Iceland.
For 12 incredible days, we traveled from Reykjavík through the Golden Circle, down to Vík, and then continued around Iceland’s Ring Road. Mile after mile, the scenery changed—and somehow, it just kept getting more beautiful.
We were rained on, windblown, and bounced along dirt and gravel roads. We drove through miles of desolate volcanic landscapes and past magnificent mountains, glaciers, black sand beaches, and waterfalls everywhere we turned. We saw landscapes with barely a tree in sight and others filled with unexpected greenery.
We saw sheep by the thousands, rode Icelandic horses, photographed an Arctic fox and beautiful swans, and stayed up to experience the incredible midnight sun. We walked and hiked for miles, stood beside more waterfalls than I could ever count, and experienced places that simply didn't seem real.
And through it all, the people of Iceland were absolutely wonderful.
This was a bucket-list trip for me, but Iceland turned out to be so much more than I ever imagined. ❤️ I found myself constantly in awe of **God’s beauty at hand**—from the smallest details to landscapes so vast they made you stop and simply take it all in.
As a photographer, I wanted to capture everything, but some places are meant to be experienced as much as they are photographed.
