Coming back on here after what feels like forever, but in reality has only been a little over a month. Amazing how life as you know it to be can change so quickly. In early April, I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer at only 38 years old. Since then, it’s been a flurry of appointments, scans, tests, and the beginning of treatment. Right when I was getting ready to start back up with the business and felt my creative muscles start coming back to life — this came charging in like a bull forcing our world to stop.
It’s been quite the shock to life to say the least. But we have a solid plan, amazing friend and family, and all the faith in the world to get us through. God in all of His loving-kindness has felt so near!
And one thing I know is this: life doesn’t stop because cancer enters the picture. So I am going to march on, still do the things i love, and give myself lots of grace along the way. So keep your eyes peeled. I may have to get creative but i’m not going anywhere. 💕
