Some stories unfold exactly as planned.

Others take a little longer, and end up even better than imagined.

For a long time, Jeremie prayed for the kind of love she hoped would one day find her. Over the years, she joked that if it never happened, she’d be perfectly happy marrying herself instead. 😂

And then, as He so often does, God shows us he has a different plan than what we could ever imagine.

Not only did He bring her a husband who feels like the perfect complement to her life, but a best friend who shares her heart, her humor, her faith, and her outlook on life.

The little plot twist? His name is Jeremy. 😉

This morning, in the quiet beauty of their own backyard, Jeremie and Jeremy promised forever to one another.

No grand ballroom. No elaborate production. Just an intentional celebration centered on Christ, love, commitment, and the beginning of a marriage they have both long awaited.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes the sweetest stories are the ones worth waiting for.

41 today. 🎉

Smash Mouth really was onto something when they said the years start coming and they don’t stop coming. 😆

Some days, I absolutely feel 41.

Watching the world change faster than I can keep up with. Watching our kids grow into people with opinions, dreams, and lives of their own. Realizing this June marks 20 years of marriage to the boy who became my husband, grew along side me and somehow has now loved me for more years of my life than he hasn’t.

And don’t even get me started on wedding hangovers, random back pain, or how injuries now happen from SIMPLY existing. 🤦🏼‍♀️

But then other days… I don’t feel 41 at all.

In my mind, I’m still young. Still hopeful. Still convinced there’s so much left to learn, create, and become. Maybe that’s what people mean when they talk about staying young at heart.

41 years in, and I’m leaning more into who I am.

Less striving.
Less worrying what people think.
Less pressure to have it all figured out.

More joy.
More peace.
More fixing my eyes on whatever God has ahead.

Less of me, always more of Him.

So here’s to 41, and the next season ahead. 🤍

There’s something extra sweet about sessions that happen this close to the wedding day. 🤍

Ella and Kyle are just about one month away from saying “I do,” and the excitement around these two is impossible to miss!

The laughter comes easy, the joy is constant, and somewhere between all of it, you can tell they are more than ready to start this next chapter as husband and wife.

Just a few more weeks of “fiancé” life left!
The countdown is officially on, and it’s safe to say these two are ready! 👏🏻

Last full day of 5th grade! 👏🏻

(Technically there’s still a few half days next week… but we were mentally ready for summer break a little early 😅)

This year was a big one for Aric. His first year at a new school, with new routines, new expectations, and honestly, a lot of unknowns. We wondered how he’d adjust.

Turns out… he did more than adjust.
He grew.

The workload was heavy and finding a rhythm took time, but once he found his groove, he crushed it!
Seven classes, new responsibilities, balancing it all while somehow still being a kid. Along the way he discovered a love for art and cooking through clubs, made new friends, and grew in confidence in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

(Also… somewhere between August and now he shot up to 5’7 😳)

Watching him work hard, push through challenges, and step into who he’s becoming has made us so unbelievably proud.
He’s grown mentally, physically, AND spiritually this year. 🤍

Now onto 6th grade…
but first:

If you asked me to pick a favorite type of wedding floral… I don’t think I ever could. The soft garden inspired blooms, timeless white roses, bold color palettes, delicate textures. Every arrangement feels like its own piece of art!

One thing wedding days have taught me is this: florals are so much more than decor.
They set the mood, tell part of the story, and bring a couple’s vision to life in a way that feels unforgettable.

Watching talented florists create these pieces from scratch and seeing them come together on a wedding day has made me appreciate the investment so much more. It’s artistry. It’s intention. And it definitely deserves to be celebrated.

I’m curious… if you were choosing your wedding florals, what would you pick?

Their morning in St. Augustine felt a lot like them. Quiet, steady, and echoing the kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to be deeply felt. 🤍

Alea & Elijah spent the morning wandering downtown together, and somewhere between the soft light and slow moments, it became obvious these two have found their home in each other.

The best season is just ahead for them, and I cannot wait to celebrate them this fall!!
