The National Gallery of Art Engagement Session 🖤

This place was such a gorgeous location for this beautiful couple! One of my favorite parts of this “job” (feels weird to call it that!) is exploring new places and getting inspired 😍

Some tips for photographing at the National Gallery of Art:
🖼️ Go early on a week day to avoid crowds
🖼️ Be ready to push your settings! No flash/lighting allowed and the lighting can be tricky in some rooms
🖼️ Be mindful of where you pose your couples and remain respectful to the gallery, don’t be the person who ruins it for everyone else
🖼️ Bring your paitence and flexibility, this is a public place with lots of visitors so there will be times where you’ll need to wait or pick a new spot. I would make sure you schedule enough time to be flexible!
🖼️ The gallery is bigger than you would expect, so plan for lots of walking and maybe even pre-map out the rooms you’d like to use if you’re short on time.

A fun shoot for a fun family 🤩🧡

Some of my favorite sessions are the ones where there’s no pressure to pose. Just an afternoon spent doing something fun together.

For this one, we spent the day skateboarding, sharing donuts, and letting the kids be kids. The result was a gallery full of real moments, genuine laughter, and memories.
